PEI Experience

To ensure the quality of our service, our field operatives average 10 to 20 years experience in self–defense and personal protection. PEI requires all team members to continually engage in an extensive training program. This training program exceeds that of all uniformed law enforcement agencies and most military units.

PEI Training

Training ethics demonstrated by our personnel are far above industry standards. Our training parallels that of special operations communities and elite military units. This training is the principle reason for the obvious superiority of PEI personnel.

Restraint and control is the emphasis of our mission, however should the need arise, all field operatives have advanced training in lethal force confrontations.

All operatives are firearms qualified. This includes team members who have earned expert and master ratings and are qualified firearms training instructors. PEI has the most demanding firearms qualification program of any known law enforcement agency.

Our training does not stop at the pistol, rifle and shotgun ranges. It includes laser optics classes taught using computer generated scenarios and laser projected images. These FATS machines are used to train all our personnel in shoot–no shoot scenarios, hostage situations and multiple threat assessment drills.

PEI Teams

Our services are divided into two primary groups, depending on the level of security required.

• Our A Team members are all martial arts experts, each with 10 or more years of martial arts discipline. They are experts in firearms, strategy, tactics, control, surveillance and counter–surveillance procedures. This group is trained to provide the maximum protection in the highest threat environments.
• Our B Team members are professionaly-trained in martial arts, firearms, and surveillance. The B Team is deployed in situations where the threat assessment is not imminent or the client's needs can be met with a reduced presence.

These two teams allow us to tailor our services to the varying needs of our clients, regardless of whether the mission statement is evacuating an office from a third world country or escorting a dignitary to a public function.

PEI Management

Protection Elite International is owned and personally directed by Larry G. Wakefield. Larry G. Wakefield has more than 20 years experience in the investigation field. Larry is a private pilot and airplane owner, and provides pro bono services for the community.
