Your Datapac book cover is constructed of Cordura™ with a heavy zipper and has no metal parts, it's nearly silent and undetectable. Choose your pages from the nearly indestructible, cream-colored du Pont Tyvek™ material, or the more traditional "Rite in the Rain"™ weather resistant paper. Tyvek is not just paper;. it's not that crap used to wrap burgers in the drive-thru. Tyvek is that nearly-indestructable new-age stuff used to make HazMat suits, and to protect Southern buildings against the summer, and to wrap Northern buildings from the winter.
Datapac is unique because it makes it easy for you, the precision shooter, to select and sequence pages how you want them, for your specific applications.
Your Datapac Template is custom crafted from pliable and nearly indestructible polymers. As you've come to expect from us by now, this template is designed for the task, it's a serious tool, not some toy or trinket.
While small and light enough to carry at all times, this professional-grade, laser-cut tool includes all four major calibers for tracing on Datapac book pages. There are three rulers in different scales, protractor, field expedient slope indicator (complete with cosign values to accurately compensate for range on uneven terrain) and different radius curves. We've found room to add an assortment of useful cut-outs, and the template targets match Datapac pages.

We couldn't find room in the Datapac for a day's MRE, but we couldn't leave out an even more vital component: ammo.

We include a custom CD-ROM with your Datapac. You don't have to haul a computer out to the field with you, and your Datapac will work just fine without it. This is another tool to add to your arsenal, a
collection of customized targets and data, to help you get more from your precision shooting sessions.
This is a standard steel target widely used on ranges. In typical use, the shooter engages the target at 500 yards with 12.5 MOA up elevation on the optic. A full value wind from the 2:00 o'clock to 3:00 o'clock position, estimated at 2.5 MOA was dialed into the scope. The shooter fires two rounds, then adds an additional .25 MOA to bring the impact to the center of the target. The shooter then fires four rounds at the head of the popper target to confirm the correct dope (come-ups) for the present conditions.
Another innovative feature of our Datapac system. This page allows the shooter to see at a glance a history of cold bore shots. In this way, the shooter may more clearly discern patterns or other anomalies with himself or his equipment. The Multi-Shot Cold Bore page incorporates many features like a full sized call target as well as a full sized hit target. Using the Sierra Template, the shooter can accurately trace hits onto the target and thus see at a glance a history of cold-bore shots, thereby discerning any shooter or equipment conditions that may warrant corrective action.
Like all four of our specially designed Sierra pages, these were designed around a 1-inch target, intended to be shot at 100 yards/meters. The intent of these four pages is to provide the shooter with the ability to very accurately plot hits using a 1-inch square target and the correct size holes for the shooter's caliber. In this way, the shooter may develop the most accurate information possible. The 1-inch square is quartered with broken lines to further assist in accurately plotting his exact hits.
Over the years, our team members have bought and tried every book. We have drawers and boxes full of these things, representing money, and especially untold hours and days, wasted in that search. Price or promise or pedigree made no difference, they were all unfinished, under-designed, incomplete, homemade, stopgap efforts.
